For more than 45 years, Mr. Skidmore has been aligned with Science Management Corporation in New Jersey as its chairperson, president and chief executive officer. An international services firm that prides itself as an expert resource in information technology, quality, productivity, culture and healthcare solutions, the organization has provided services and consultation to clients in nearly every industry, from food, transportation and banking to pharmaceuticals, education and manufacturing (5,000 clients in 40 nations). Mr. Skidmore formerly served as National President U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce, Vice President and President of Handy Associates, New York, as well as several other significant roles with Pepsi Cola Company Inc. and New Jersey Bell Telephone Company and Assistant to the President of the United States.

Moreover, Mr. Skidmore has played an active role on numerous boards, including on the Board of Directors of Coca Cola Bottling Company (NYSE), the Board of Directors for United Jersey Banks (NYSE), the Board of Directors of Newark Brush Company, and on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, for which he contributed for nearly two decades between 1984 and 2003. Additionally, he was further associated as a Trustee for several educational institutions and hospitals and had served +30 years on the Board and Executive Committee for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.

Michael J. Markus, PhD

Michael is a social psychologist turned entrepreneur with a passion for healthcare innovation. After transitioning from academia, Michael co-founded Within3, a pioneering social search platform connecting physicians, nurses, and patients within healthcare and life science organizations.

Following Within3’s success, Michael co-founded Genesyn IP Ventures, collaborating with Temple University to invest in respiratory medical device companies. His ventures include:

  • HGE Health: Developed a digital platform for remote COPD management, leading to improved patient outcomes and reduced hospitalizations. HGE Health was acquired by Vapotherm.
  • Sleep Specialists, LLC (DBA 2Z Medical): Pioneered the first FDA-cleared medical device equivalent to CPAP for mild to moderate positional OSA.

Today, Michael is the CEO of GreenKey Health, the parent company of 2Z Medical. GreenKey Health focuses on value-based care, offering a comprehensive sleep disordered breathing program that improves patients’ lives and reduces healthcare costs by targeting high-risk individuals with sleep apnea and multiple comorbidities.

Abhinav “Abhi” Rastogi is the President and CEO of Temple University Hospital and EVP of Temple Health. He has a proven leadership around Operational efficiency initiatives with sustained outcomes and results. He is forward thinking, solutions focused and outcomes driven who combines project management, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data analytics and leadership to execute strategic Clinical and Operational improvement initiatives. He has a strong background in leading and growing clinical service lines and was instrumental in the growth of the Temple Lung Transplant program to the top volume program in the country. In addition, he oversees Solid Organ Transplants, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Lab, Pharmacy and Supply Chain service lines. His strong focus on Supply Chain operations has contributed to over $10M savings annually and has presented supply chain efficiency opportunities at several national conferences.

Due to his strong technical background, Abhi works with Healthcare Tech startups to be able to provide better solutions to patients / providers and offer Temple Hospital as an incubator for development and research. The recent Broncoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) valve approved for commercial use was evaluated in most patients at Temple. In addition, he focuses on remote monitoring of patients with connected devices to evaluate care and improve outcomes.

Abhi has an MBA with a concentration in eBusiness and Healthcare Finance, MS degree in Information Systems and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computers. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. During his 19 years at Temple, Abhi has served as director of the Project Management Office, Associate Hospital Director of the Pulmonary Service Line, and Senior Vice President Professional Services. Before that, he was a pharmaco-economic data analyst at Temple University’s School of Pharmacy, a consultant for IBM, and a project team leader at Tata Infotech.

Joseph Cunningham

Joseph Cunningham, MD

Dr. Joseph Cunningham is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and spent 21 years in private practice and serving as Staff Physician at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Cunningham joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma in 2007 as the Medical Director of Medical Services over the Utilization Management and Case Management Departments. In 2009, Dr. Cunningham was named the company’s Vice President of Healthcare Management and Chief Medical Officer. In December 2014, he was named the Vice President of Health Care Delivery and Chief Medical Officer and in July 2015, he was named the Divisional Senior Vice President of Health Care Delivery and Chief Medical Officer. In 2018 Dr. Cunningham was named the President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and served in that capacity until 2022. Most recently, Dr. Cunningham was Chief Medical Officer of the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health from December 2022 thru April 2024 where he was responsible for and oversaw the daily operations of all clinical programs, providers, and pharmacy programs along with chairing all clinical and pharmacy committees. Dr. Cunningham has been involved on a national scale doing Value Based Care Programs with CMS, CMMI, and multiple payers since 2011. His programs have been called out as a leader nationally in the effort to move care from the fee-for-service world to more of an outcomes-based agreements.

Dr. Joseph Crocetti, DO is a critical care medicine specialist in Abington, PA and has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Crocetti has extensive experience in Obstructive Lung Disease and Sleep Apnea. He graduated from PHILADELPHIA COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE in 1993. He is affiliated with medical facilities Jefferson Lansdale Hospital and Jefferson Abington Hospital. Joe is the inventor of Zzoma and founded the company with Dr. Sam Krachman in 2006.

Sam Krachman, DO

Sam Krachman, DO is Professor, Thoracic Medicine and Surgery, Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and is the Director, Sleep Center, Temple University Hospital and TUH – Jeanes Campus. Sam’s clinical interests are sleep disorders, Asthma, and COPD and conducts research in sleep disorders in congestive heart failure, emphysema, and long term ventilation. Sam received his DO, from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO and did his Fellowship, Pulmonary Medicine, University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX and Residency, Internal Medicine, Metropolitan Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI. Sam helped Joe Crocetti start Sleep Specialists, LLC, the manufacturer of Zzoma, in 2006.

David Kendrick Picture

David Kendrick, MD

David Kendrick, MD, MPH, FACP, is the principal investigator and CEO of MyHealth Access Network, Oklahoma’s non-profit health information network, which ensures that every Oklahoman’s complete health record is securely available where and when they need it for care and health decision-making. MyHealth serves more than 3 million patients and is focused on improving health in Oklahoma and beyond by implementing a community-wide infrastructure for healthcare IT. MyHealth was one of the original Beacon Communities selected by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT. MyHealth is focused on providing advanced health information exchange, community-wide care coordination tools, and a robust decision support platform to support providers and patients in improving health.

Dr. Kendrick is the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), which developed the first comprehensive quality measurement programs with HEDIS, as well as certification programs for Patient Centered Medical Homes and Specialty Care. While Chair, Dr. Kendrick proposed the creation of a Data Aggregator Validation program that recognizes the cost and resources efficiencies brought to the quality measurement process by data aggregators with validated high-quality data. Dr. Kendrick is also a member of the board of the Patient Centered Data Home® program, and previously served on both the boards of the Strategic HIE Collaborative, and the Networks for Regional Health Improvement before their recent merger to become the Civitas Networks for Health. Dr. Kendrick has been elected to the board of the new Civitas organization. Dr. Kendrick served as the Senior Counsel for Interoperability to National Health IT Coordinator, Dr. Karen DeSalvo, and continues to serve as a consultant to various State and Federal Agencies.

Dr. Kendrick also chairs the Department of Medical Informatics Department at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Community Medicine, and serves as the Assistant Provost for Strategic Planning for the OU Health Sciences Center. The Department of Medical Informatics provides clinical information systems support to OU Physicians as well as analytics services for clinical operations and research. In addition, the Department operates a Health Access Network for the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority, providing care management services, quality improvement support, and technology for Oklahoma physicians serving more than 100,000 patients.

Walter Boomer, MD

Dr. Walter Boomer is a fellowship-trained pulmonologist and critical care specialist who founded RespirCare Open Access in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is dedicated to providing rapid, high-quality care for individuals experiencing acute and chronic breathing problems. Dr. Boomer treats a wide range of respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, and pulmonary and cystic fibrosis. RespirCare offers a unique approach to respiratory care, providing walk-in appointments seven days a week for patients who may not be able to readily access their primary care physician or specialist.

Dr. Boomer received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1986 and completed his residency there in 1989. He then pursued a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, which he finished in 1992. He is triple board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Boomer is affiliated with several hospitals in the area, including Integris Grove Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, Ascension Oklahoma St. John Broken Arrow, Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Muscogee Creek Nation Medical Center.

As a testament to his commitment to patient care, Dr. Boomer is the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2020), On-Time Doctor Award (2020), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2020). Pulmonology is a medical specialty focused on the respiratory system, including the lungs, bronchial tubes, nose, pharynx, and throat.
