Michael is a social psychologist turned entrepreneur with a passion for healthcare innovation. After transitioning from academia, Michael co-founded Within3, a pioneering social search platform connecting physicians, nurses, and patients within healthcare and life science organizations.
Following Within3’s success, Michael co-founded Genesyn IP Ventures, collaborating with Temple University to invest in respiratory medical device companies. His ventures include:
- HGE Health: Developed a digital platform for remote COPD management, leading to improved patient outcomes and reduced hospitalizations. HGE Health was acquired by Vapotherm.
- Sleep Specialists, LLC (DBA 2Z Medical): Pioneered the first FDA-cleared medical device equivalent to CPAP for mild to moderate positional OSA.
Today, Michael is the CEO of GreenKey Health, the parent company of 2Z Medical. GreenKey Health focuses on value-based care, offering a comprehensive sleep disordered breathing program that improves patients’ lives and reduces healthcare costs by targeting high-risk individuals with sleep apnea and multiple comorbidities.
